My issues have been the initial connection. So this unit has connected flawlessly for you?

Yes. No problems for a couple years now. The typical time after start to connect, but every system seems to need that.

OK, trigger pulled and I was able to get in on the Christmas sale. Fingers crossed. They are a slick system after the initial connection is made.

Installed in wife's 2017 Elantra today...very easy install once I double-sided taped the unit to just atop the usb location in center console.

Activated AppleCarPlay on the display and followed the prompts to link wife's phone. (Engine did not need to be running)

The display immediately showed her Google maps. I asked wife to start up her Spotify and Bam! Worked like a charm.

I want to get one for my Tacoma except Amazon only allows one coupon per account.

    WAIT!!!

I was able to get the $46 discount + points used for total price: $59.39. (Reg price $115)

All good. I hope it works as well and I accept the obvious risk.

I hope it works well for you!

If all goes well, I'll put a review in for two vehicles: 2017 Elantra & 2021 Tacoma Sport.

Calls thru my wireless car play device are terrible. Use it for long trips so the nav is on screen. Unplugged otherwise. Have it velcroed up in the wireless charge are so hardly notice it

I got the Pairr 4. It does not do Netflix or YouTube. It also took 4 weeks to get with very little updates from the company as to where it was. It does connect quickly but drops incoming calls frequently. It connects using a Wi-Fi connection and works and streams like a wired connection. Because of the dropped incoming calls I do not recommend this and it is unplugged more than it is plugged in and useable. Go online and read the reviews. Save your money and just plug your phone in. I am about to purchase the ottocast. Are people experiencing problems with dropped calls using this product?

I think all of them might be a little glitchy. I paid $20 so it was worth a shot. Just velcroed it up. Only use it on trips when I need navigation. Phone quality on the other end is really bad.

I just bought an Ottocast. I’ll post a review as soon as I receive it. My wife has the small Carlinkit dongle and seems to be happy with it.

I installed the CarlinKit on my wife's Elantra Christmas Day.

Easy set-up and she tested it with her Spotify which connected right away.

I bought the same model for my Sport and it arrives today!

I'll post a review about it too.

Just installed myCarlinKit. I'm about to take it for test drive to the Vet Clinic for our cat's check-up.
