Wiring Camper shell brake light

    Any good sites on "how to" or what wires mean what? I have 2011 Tacoma Access and bought a l2007 eer Z series cap used?

    tint, topper, receiver hitch, trailer wiring, topper lighting, cruise control, intermittent wipers, backup camera, auto-dim mirror
    Assuming that the 2011 is the same as the 2010:

    Remove the two bolts which secure the taillight. Pull the taillight straight back to remove. Connect the shell brake light positive wire (probably red) to the blue truck taillight wire. Connect the shell brake light ground (probably black) to the white/black truck taillight wire.

    The wire colors above and below are on the truck side of the plug, not the tailight side:
    Red: Backup
    Green: Tail
    Blue: Brake
    Yellow: Left Turn
    Blue/White: Right Turn
    White/Black: Ground
