So I've created this thread as an area to both learn more about the electrical side of our trucks and also to function as a resource for myself and others to refer to on future projects. I've yet to come across any threads like it in my searches to find out some basic electrical know how.
In this first post I will generate a list of links that will bring others to posts that discuss or solve issues posted by other members as they are resolved on an ongoing basis.

Please feel free to post your electrical problems or solutions so we can widen the scope of this thread so it's useful to as many people as possible.

So I've recently begun to install my CKMA12 compressor under the hood. As I've been looking at the wireing harness, the switch side of the harness has two wires coming off of it that are switched power and illumination. I know others have done this project before me and I've gotten some great info for areas to tap into for both. Unfortunately others have placed theirs in locations different than mine and so I'm looking for some other possibilities to tap into for those two particular connections. Any suggestions for something on the left side of the steering wheel?

The Best Tip I can give is get a Hard Copy of your Trucks Electrical Wiring Diagrams makes doing any type of electrical work so much easier.

I won`t work on a vehicle with out having the EWD in hand
