To preface, I had a 2015 tacoma with the entune JBL head unit. I have the OEM amp and subwoofer behind the rear passenger seats.

I've read the couple joying threads floating around and I cannot seem to figure out what kind of wiring harness I would need to get this unit to work with the amp and sub.

    So far I have bought:
    Head unit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078NPT25S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Dash kit: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016S0X0NE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I know I need a wiring harness of some sort. I want to be able to retain the steering wheel controls (at least most of the common ones like volume, prev, next), hook the factory rear view camera in (saw a how-to video in another thread) and make sure my amp and sub work.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Something like this https://pac-audio.com/catalog/radio-replacement/tato , this is just to retain the factory amp(You'll also need a steering wheel interface). They might have an all in one unit.

    Or something from idatalink http://maestro.idatalink.com/search...5&vehicle_model_id=159&vehicle_audio_id=13420

I would suggest you call Pac and idatalink, to see what they have that will work with what you are trying to accomplish.

FYI you're going to have to fit that kit to the radio, those joying's come in a different shape than the typical aftermarket radio.

@Purpleman thank you for the links. I think I am going to go with this one: https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120TYTO02/Axxess-TYTO-02-Wiring-Interface.html for the amp and https://www.crutchfield.com/p_120ASWC1/Axxess-ASWC-1-Steering-Wheel-Control-Adapter.html for the steering wheel controls.

Regarding the dash kit and HU I got, do you recommend a different HU that will require minimal fitting? I am open to any brand, but I do like the android type ones like pumpkin, ATOT, joying etc. I saw everyone's love for the joying ones here in this forum and need mine replaced ASAP since my stock JBL broke.

Personally I would go with a kenwood unit, preferably their Excelon line (2 yr warranty). But you're looking at spending around $600 for a radio with android auto.

If you're set on a Joying, by all means get it. You'll just have to work with that kit a bit to make it fit, worst case scenario you fuck up and have to buy a new kit and start over.

Yeah I tried a test fit last night and it is for sure too big. I really dont want to cut into the dash kit. I might just go with a different head unit. Is it just the JOYING units that are like this? I'm wondering if the ATOTO or the Pumpkin units will fit.
