I have done 12-15 sets and I wore them to a switch on power source at the inside fusepanel. I use a fuse tap and make sure the wire can hold the power so they only are on when the car is. They usually draw 2-4 amps each so I split them up. Second if ur taking the upholstery off get a pair of 8inch bolt cutters for the hog rings and then a hog ring tool and rings for putting it back on. I use and adhesive spray to tac the heaters to the seats and zipties for the center bars.

I'm installing some new custom Katzkins myself as well the heated seats. I've got some hogring pliers and rings on the way.I just need a couple of more tools and I will be ready for the seats but the heated seat part is the only thing thats got me worried. I don't even know some of the terminology of wiring the seats. Pretty dumb ahh.

It's two wires. Ground one. Then put the red one to a hot. Then hide the wire loom and relay under the center console. Then install the buttons. Simple really. The stripping of the seat cloth is the real bitch

There is a fuse panel under the dash. Look for one that is constant on when the key is on. Like window motors or radio and there are a few blanks that may be hot when key is on. I use fuse taps. Makes it very easy, or if u want you can wire them through to the battery but then you must always remember to turn them off when not in the vehicle.

Mini fuse tap. Tap into the 15 amp power outlet spot. Mine work great.

I didn't use bolt cutters, just have needle nose pliers and pulled them out.

I've done shit loads. Pulling them takes forever. Dremel with cut off wheel or the 8inch bolt cutter pliers make it quick and easy. 1987 4Runner seats had 24 per seat and I did 4 of them

I don't know what you did then. All I did was grab them with the pliers, twist, and pull. As easy as that.
