....is there any way to hook up a wire to the horn (that sends the signal to the parking lights) when I arm or disarm my truck? Or do I have to get an alarm system?

So you are wanting to make noise when you lock/unlock? ( I take it you have remote locks but no alarm)

A good prank is to get into your buddies truck and wire the turn signal to the horn or washer pump. Everytime they use the turn signal the horn honks or washer pump turns on

You could also "add" the unlock/lock buzzard instead of the horn...

I hooked up the shop's manager's/salesman's Ford Ranger's horn to the starter relay.

"I thought it was weird every time I got in my truck the neighbor honked his horn."

If you have factory keyless lock/unlock there should be a connector on the driver side of the radiator support that the buzzer will plug into. My truck has the plug but doesn't have keyless entry.

I would add a relay instead of just a wire. But I'd say yes it's entirely possible to do

This one is for the HORN.
You de-pin (or cut n tape) the red with white runner wire (Hazard Switch) on connector 1J_11.
Its terminal gets cut and crimped joining with a new white wire and female terminal (090/2.3II) to be inserted into the 3 way connector for the diodes.
The other side of this new wire gets a female terminal to be inserted on connector T12 (Signal Relay).
The original white wire gets reused, from diode connector to connector 1L_8 (de-pinned from T12, female)
A new wire (20 awg size) gets t-tap (or how ever you like) to connector 1C_10 with other end crimped with a female terminal (090/2.3II) inserted into diode connector)
When unlock is pressed on FOB, ground for HORN is made by BECU via Haz, like OEM. The diodes are there to prevent actuation of HORN when Haz are selected. Steering wheel horn works as before.

Sure is. I mean that's always the first thing that comes to my mind when someone plays a simple harmless prank on me - "I think I'll shoot them and go to prison. They made my horn honk when I didn't want it to."

Didn’t say I would do that but there are folks that would in today’s crazy world. An immature prank doesn’t seem worth it...
