I think I’ll keep mine for a while being paid off. Put new plugs in and did a oil and filter. Change today.
Goes in in the 12th to get the frame sprayed.

I really like the look. I used the method below to fill the holes in my fenders. This will not work with the stock front bumper though because the holes are a weird shape.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...the-fenders-after-removing-the-flares.304366/

Also stock flairs do block some mud and things. Expect your truck to get dirtier with them off

But bigger tires won’t fit with fancy flares... :D. That’s why mine are gone.

I thought the aftermarket flares would have bigger openings for bigger tires?

I was going to put 34's on the 4runner, but it sounded like more cutting than I was ready for. I'm sure these 33's are more than enough for my needs.

The aftermarket flares add width to catch debri from wider tires or in my case offset. They don’t add clearance.

You can get aftermarket fenders that give you more clearance but most people just chop. :sawzall:

What UCAs did you go with. You might be able to fix that with a caster adjustment

I have BDS. I'm thinking about getting the alignment re-adjusted. It's at 3.5° right now. I would like to get it up to 4° at least.

Tell your allignment guy to max your caster while keeping 0 caster and 0 toe

It's kind of a dance. Each adjustment affects the others

Yeah, a guy on the 4runner forum said that as well. I should have specified that I wanted as much caster as possible.

I might take it to Big Bear tire for an alignment, as they've been recommended by several people.

It drives perfect. But, I realize that the added caster will get the tires away from the mud flaps

Let me know how Big Bear does. I do my own alignments but it's really tedious and I'd like to find somebody really good to work with

I will. I think I'll try to get it done in the next few weeks.

Right now I'm looking forward to the first weekend in awhile without some kind of work or project. Woohoo!

    Mmmm...perhaps...

I'm going to check up on things at the river property my Mom's boyfriend owns. I MIGHT take the scenic route, and @BEAR_KNIFE_FIGHT MIGHT be joining me.
