Last night's progress on the table. Framed it with 1/2" square tube and used round stock for the pivots, set into grommets. The right side mount is temporary, going to attach another vertical mount like the one on the other side, likely for mounting a chainsaw, and will just need a hole drilled in it. Going to skin it with some stainless, maybe add some dimples depending on how rigid it is. going to add a support cable to just the left side for now, hopefully it will be goods enough until I get the other mount in there and can add a second cable. It is also going to have to be pretty short, connecting less than half way out the table due to the tailgate swing radius.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Looks like I started a trend on with the table on swing outs. At least in our little group.

EAF table complete. Finished it off with a sheet of stainless and bolted it down, rattle free. A second guy wire is needed on the unsupported side for sure, but will be fine for a while as is.

A few other details that I have added to the swingout the past few months include a cap on the end of the arm, second reverse light, backup camera, lights for the plate and a light for the table with a waterproof switch next to it. Also was able to use the CO2 tank mount as is for a jerry can, may make a better fitting higher clearance one at some point, but this will work for now.

Thanks guys, I may need to either add another one or one with more spread that close, as it really just hits the center third of the table directly, but it it will work for now.

What light did you go with above your drop down table? I am looking at different light options right now for my same setup.

I don't want something too bright that is just ridiculous to work with at night but obviously want something decently bright.

It is just a cheap ebay special, the 12W. Works great in that spot for next to nothing ($6) and lights up the table and area around the back of the truck very well.

Why did you go with a white 3rd member?

It's just going to get dirty and look awful.
