Hello all, my name is Bailey i just got a V6 1999 Toyota Tacoma trd 200,000mi , i am 14.5 years old and live in Soldotna Alaska and commercial fish in the summer time (thats how I paid for half the truck) Attend high school the rest of the year I play football and wrestle. The truck that I just bought needs a little work on it, it has had a front end collision, but the air-bags did not deploy. My dad and older brother has always have ford trucks so they do not know much about Toyota's, and we could use some advice and information about the tacoma stuff . We have a new radiator and radiator mount plate. Dad got a cheap OBDii readier off the Internet because it wont start. But I will try to post more about that in the proper forum (ignition forum?). what to do about new bumper forum? maybe I will put all under build forum 1st gen.hopefully this link to my picture works. I am really exited, I thought my dad would probably steer me to a Ford, and I really wanted a toyota TRD. [IMG][IMG]

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Nice truck. Have you checked the easy things first? Like the battery, fuses, etc?

Yeah, I think we checked out all the easy stuff. #1 coil does not send park to cyl 1 or 4. swapped it with other coils and still no spark on 1 or 4. checked spark plug wires (ohmed out good).
Thanks agian for the welcome & I will try to put more info when I get time on 1st gen build. Dad is in the shop with me today trying to pull all the bent & smashed front end stuff off, so I gotta go. I will post a pic on build page once we get it stripped down.
