Hey guys, in the past I have always coated my trucks in Fluid Film. They have a new product called Woolwax, it does not have a smell, and you can buy it tinted black. You can use the code "IH8Mud" to get 10% off. I bought this kit: https://www.kellsportproducts.com/W...Five-gallon-pail-with-PRO-spray-Gun_p_47.html

Stuff sprayed on pretty easily. I found out the hard way two things, if you end up buying the sprayer. You can not turn it sideways, or you will end up wearing it, and if you are using the frame hose, and it gets a kink, the product will spray out the top of the sprayer forcefully. Other than that, spraying this stuff was easy. I just took my crock pot out to the garage and heated it up first.

Up here in the NE, it's amazing how much damage the brine does to the undercarriage. I was convinced that Toyota's just weren't made as well as they used to be (I own a few, from 1977 to a 2014) and that may be true to a point, but this brine crap just coats everything and sticks a lot better than salt :( to the road, and to the vehicle.

I should also mention, Fluid Film tended to make a mess when spraying, but the Woolwax is a lot thicker. I covered my driveway with plastic when I did my first vehicle, but since there wasn't anything on the plastic, I didn't bother on my other vehicles.

Thanks for the feedback, probably use this instead of fluid film next year, I CANNOT stand the smell of fluid film, my little brother b*tched about the smell for weeks when I would pick him up from school.

Yeah I don’t mind it either. But then we have sheep on our farm so lanolin is a smell that’s just a part of life round here ha.

I love fluid film , it’s done a awesome job under my truck . This could only be better imo . I sprayed about 10 of the aerosol cans and it’s held up great . I’d like to clean it off and try the wool wax . I’m on my second year after application also
