Hindsight, I wish I would've kept my 2007 Tacoma! I really did love the Sandstone color that everyone says was the "worst" color. The only reason I traded was for 0% financing on a newer model, didn't care what color, and at the time all they had were Rugged Trail Editions for sale in Silver, so I took it.

That's why I didn't buy one. My buddy bought a trd with nerf bars, K&N filter etc...I just chuckle.

personally, I really like my truck in general. Just a couple things that seem "lacking" from the factory. I was not out to bash Tacoma's. I would buy another one today.

Agree with the tow hitch outlet, and also with the outlet in the bed rather than inside the cab. WTF were they thinking?!

I hate the dome light that gradually goes on and off. Stupid and pointless. This is not a Lexus.

I think you can simply cut the blue wire on the teft side of the fuse panel under the dash (13 pin connector) and then ground the side away from the multi connector. Constant ground, always on when the door is open.

checked tonight after driving for ten mins. My phone said 60 degrees, the bank sign said 61 degrees, and my truck said 67 degrees. Total POS.

Really don't know what everyone is complaining about... All you bitchin about the little shit, have you ever owned a truck/4wheeler twice your age? The Taco is a creampuff. It's plush, it starts, it goes where I point it, I can actually have a conversation in it while driving down the highway and my kidneys don't hate me at the end of the day.

Ohhh nooo my temp gauge isnt accurate how will I ever know if it cold or hot out???? My mirrors aren't heated! Sure beats the hell outta the whole cab fogging up every time it rains.... Slow dimming cab light??? At least there is a cab light! My 4X4 switch isnt lit... Try having 3 levers sticking outta the floor with no labels and having to actually get out of your truck in the mud to lock your hubs....

If the Taco is such a POS there are A LOT of trucks out there that can be had for 1/10th the price than don't have any of those "annoying" problems....

This thread is pretty much a repost, and IMO just shows alot of people with regrets in what they got. Plus pretty much any kind of vehicle you buy, there will always be something you don't like on it. Maybe you guys just need to start from the ground up, and peice together something you are happy with.

Looking for another Taco. Can't stay away.
I don't like the chrome bumper. Not only is it shiny, but it bent within 2 weeks of me owning it. I was even on asphalt when it happened.

Other than that, I am mostly content with what I have. Actually, I probably would have been completely content if I had not found this black hole of a money pit called Tacoma World :(

I know it's petty but I don't like how none of the inside compartments lock.
