of the more egregious behavior is abating.

No issues with radio even in the mtns of NH . But boy do I hate the GPS.

 

Hey guys, I am the one Tunngavik felt compelled to chastise because of my low life level of few posts. While my number of posts is low, I have been on many many websites for cars, trucks and motorcycles for as long as many of them have started. I'm an old fart with lots of experience mechanically, riding/driving wise, experience with dealers. On many of those websites the first thing many new owners do when they find something they don't like or have a problem with is to jump on a site and many have never talked to their dealer who may know exactly what is wrong or to adjust. I've seen it for years so I don't think that was some stupid comment despite Tunngivik's opinion. As for posts, what level do you all think is a worthwhile number to have credibility? Lots of people have many many posts and don't have a friggin' clue. So from a Newb please enlighten the rest of us.

 

Ok, you asked so here's my thoughts on the how many posts before starting a thread...as of typing this, I'm at 600 odd posts...havent started a thread yet.

Mebbe I'm just weird that way...dunno...but if I had a vote (I clearly dont) I'd say 30 posts before thread authoring permissions

My radio had the rebooting issue but Toyota updated the firmware via the TSB and no issues since. The reception is fine on mine. I have the Premium Entune Audio radio with Nav.

 

The OP is complaining on the radio reception, not the sound quality. He should make sure the digital reception is switched off. I tend to agree that the radio reception is lacking. But it was lacking in my 2016 RAV4 also. I had much better reception in my 2014 RAV4, and 2012 Highlander.
