I assume you are getting an awesome deal of some kind? I would fix one up. But not sure what your plans are for it.

I did get a pretty good deal on it I’m in California so prices are crazy on Tacoma’s over here. And so far I have little things on it I’m going more towards like off road look just don’t know if it’s worth it cause it’s 2WD

Lockers with good tires will do the trick. Is it a V6?

Few SR RWD's have that. It wasn't until the SX package was introduced that you could get a V6 and RWD (and only in an Access Cab like all other SX's). Otherwise, SR's only had V6's if you got the DCSB and 4x4. There's also the super, super rare 2016 fleet trucks, but I believe those were only 4x4 as well.

Yea I’ve been seeing that a lot that lockers is the way to go and no that’s the other thing it’s a 4cyl but comes with the gear selection which I know would somewhat help out on trails.

Yea I think I remember that. I have a huge list of just about every configuration possible for the 3rd gen. It should show up under this post if you’re reading it on a computer

I'm not seeing it, unless I got the years wrong, but I'm pretty sure it was 2016.

There are lots of off roaders in SoCal, who are using 2wd trucks off road. With a good rear locker you can go many places, just not the most technical climbs.

Okay. Was it the 4WD access cab with the 4cylinder?

IIRC the rare fleet-code trucks were available as either an ACLB or DCSB, with 4x4, V6 and the 6MT

Awesome! Just wanted to see what people had to say or what ideas they have, cause I know there’s people out there that would not agree on doing so cause it’s not a TRD but dope to see people out here are for it!

Eaton and ARB. ARB uses a compressor which would be even better for you because you can air down in tougher areas when off roading.

Nothing wrong with it it’s a 2019 Tacoma SR access cab and wanted to see what the Tacoma world would suggest if it’s worth fixing up/modding it.
