Would 265/75/R17 rub even with a 2"-2.5" inch lift and no trimming?

Wheelers Superbumprs paired with All-Pro U-Bolt flip kit. 17" Black 4Runner TRD Pro Rims - 32" for DD 17" Black 4Runner TRD Pro - 33" BFG KM2 255/80r17 for dedicated off road set. So this is a two part newbie question: Would 265/75/R17 tires rub on a Gen 2 Taco with a basic (either OME or Icon Stage 2) 2" to 2.5" lift with NO cab mount trimming?

Context: I fell in love and upgraded to the 2015 4Runner TRD Pro Matte Black 17" rims. Once I get my lift completed I would like to upgrade my tires to something closer to 33". While I like the look of 285, I don't like the idea having to trim and or cut my cab mounts to completely eliminate the rubbing. However if 265/75/R17 (close to 33") still rub (w/o trimming) then I will have to be content with the current Nitto Grappler G2 (31.6") tires that I'm currently running.

Second part: Why are 265/75/R17 size tires so rare. I've only been able to find one company that even makes then, Kanati - Trail Hogs. I don't claim to be an expert on off road tires, but I've never heard of them. Is there some functionality/capability that you lose by going with that size tire and ratios? Also, I know there isn't much of a difference in actual width, but I'm not interested in going with "pizza cutters" 255 - 33" tires because of how skinny they look.

Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge.

    I didn't think anybody made a 265/75/17

The KO2 is supposed to come out with a 34x10.5x17 which is essentially 265/80/17

I know this doesn't answer your question, but there is a good selection of 255/75/17 tires that are not that much smaller than what you are looking for.

Interesting, thanks for the info, I didn't know they made tires in 265/80/17 size. A 33.7" BFG tire just sounds epic. If you had to take an educated guess would 265/80/17 rub on a Gen 2 Taco with 2-2.5" lift with no trimming? If they don't rub, I might just get these.

3" front lift, 2" rear lift, SPidertrax wheel spacers
I run 285/70/17 with some 1.5" wheel spacers (for UCA rubbing) and have zero rub. no trimming or anything.

    No company makes a 265/75/17.

You would need to step up to 18" to get a similar tire as a 265/70/18 exists.
