    ...yep 35 pages in a thread topic that is rather explicit (via the title!!!) about excercising a "political right" (i.e the founder's 2nd amendment), ...yet my posts about the 2nd amendment "news of the day", get locked out of the gate, ....you have to walk on eggshells here, ...it would help if they would at least adorn the paths w/ a few hedgerows here and there... ask me how i know this... :(

    his post was openly about certain political parties/presidents. that's how. you can talk about guns or defending your rights for guns w/o going on political diatribes.

    guess what else...the OP also posts about many things other than only political themes. if you look at your created threads, 90+% are on this topic. this is a truck site with side talk of other issues/topics. there are many other sites out there to push an agenda.

    If that is what you'd like to see happen, we can. But for the most part folks are able to control themselves and post reasonably in here. If that changes, or folks try to amass threads about gun law and/or political leanings about guns....then things may change.

    So I guess we need to close the thread when the antigunners are met with facts and logic? I understand not wanting to see propaganda posted because that shit helps nothing, but don't close this thread just because the anti-gunners are getting their asses handed to them. By the way, I am not a republican, I just base my beliefs on what is written in the Constitution. In fact I consider myself to be fanatically moderate.

    whoa, ...so the modstaff issues demerits based on a member's post "distribution"...?... I have not violated any of the tenets of the TW CoC, ...but posting 2nd amendment news makes me less of a member?... I have a brand new truck, ..and I keep it stock, and so i don't meet a target post distribution in "truck-related" areas of the forum, so that means I'm an imposter? how about a little more objectivity and respect?... :confused:

    you cant seem to separate people's rights from political parties. rights are a fundamental issue and can be discussed in a civil manner w/o outright politics. as you can see from this gun thread and the link you posted, political posts are non-existent for the most part and things are sailing smoothly without them.

    there are plenty of folks here that have stock trucks or even no trucks at all that dont turn to pushing their agenda to relate to other folks on the forum. political discussions are against the CoC. also in there is moderator discretion. the moderation of this forum also isnt on the back of on person and things are taken into account by many members.

    objectivity? your entire agenda is that one side is wrong and the other is right. the only objectivity you have is pushing your ideas and running with them. that being said, feel free to take this to PMs with the mods or in the "Chat with the Mods" section.

    Close the thread even the poll question is bias I mean make it sound like letting go of your guns is the cowardly thing to do but keeping them and start a fire fight is the macho thing to do. Please gentlemen grow up it may have been fun to play cops and robbers when you were kids but is not a game anymore people get hurt or die because of the unnecessary amount of fire arms in the public. Every study shows Americans are gun crazed and yes more guns=more violence you're a fool if you believe otherwise.
