You have to be moving fast and come to a complete stop in a VERY short distance to do that to the bed with only front end damage

The damage to my truck is nowhere near these others I see in this thread! I had just washed my truck, walked inside to get mIMG_0803.jpg IMG_0820.jpg IMG_0810.jpg y dog and go for a spin and heard a big boom and glass breaking. I looked out of my back sliding door to see an Envoy in my front yard. The guy drifted off the road, ran into my rought iron fence, up over my portch, and into my truck parked in the driveway. Could have been much worse! I'll finally have it back in about one week (about 2 months without it). So far it's about $13k in damage (on just the truck). Another guy fell asleep and ran into another part of my fence 2 weeks later. :annoyed:

You need to put up jersey barriers, or landscaped hesco barriers.

This guy didn't put on his brakes at all, zero tire marks before he hit the fence. It definitely helped slow him down. But, we now have 3 targets down, we are running out of things to run into. We've had 3-4 people come out and give us estimates to replace he fence and it was going to be $1200 for just 12 feet of wrought iron fencing. Need to figure out another plan! But, my neighbor went to a city meeting and they will now be putting in a stop sign short before my house

That is not the proper way to get the bobbed bed look.

What about seeing if they'll also put one of those HUGE road bumps in the road? you know the type you have to slow to a crawl or you'll Baja jump and destroy a vehicle if you don't.

This is our truck after someone crashing into the back of it. The police said they were going 50 to 60 mph while I was stopped. If our truck wasn't made so well I wouldn't be here. They thought I had fractures in my neck but they were only micro fractures and whiplash and really bad abdominal problems and contusions from the seat belts.
