    Without having the piping to the intake or air box, whats the need for a filter?

    Aren't there plenty of threads on here where it has been determined that the hood scoop is in a negative air pressure location and therefore not able to be functional?

    Am I missing something... Sounds like all you accomplished was removing the backer pieces to the scoop and cutting up a perfectly good air filter. So how much HP you get by doing that? :rolleyes:
