Great writeup @smitty99 .... very complete, great that you linked the tools too ...

Someone (like the OP) could hit their shin on the tow hitch! Just an observation and ruin those beautiful calves.

6112s come with springs...??? Is that your question?

I suppose it is... yes. Are they Bilstein springs.... I'm going with YES.

I went the 5100 & Icon progressive AAL... sounds about the same ride quality which is awesome.
I did not need the bearing replaced but needed a carrier drop shim to remove the slight vibration.

I tested a carrier drop and it made no difference for the vibrations I was getting. Ended up replacing needle bearing and she's like butter.

Do you know what spring rate is on the new 6112s?

You mentioned that this eliminated(?) your rear diff howl in another thread.

After a few more days of driving around...hows the howl?

Nice write-up, Smitty! And good to see the truck you've had so many issues with finally. It sure does look nice. :)

I've read it multiple times elsewhere however from first hand experience how do you think the 3 leaf aal's hold weight? If you have hauled anything yet. Wondering if they would hold 1-1.25" with a constant 200lb load.

I hauled a ~200lb dresser this weekend and had little to no noticeable sag. @Threerun posted his results on towing and hauling weight with the same setup but on a long bed, I certainly doubt it would be any worse on a Short Bed. In fact it should be better. See his feedback here post #187 and several other posts he made in this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/new-bilstein-6112.358258/page-10#post-13197179
