Looks like they sent me the wrong parts? Not seeing the holes for the bolts on the Rear Superbumps.

Those look like they'd work if you didn't flip your ubolts maybe. Looks like the wrong parts.

Should be getting he correct parts today. Was initially worried about installing it but with the AAL+Overload, i can fit my head inside the Wheel-well Lol...

So basically I just hand tighten the rear Superbumps into the UBolt plate as much as possible?

I don't recall exactly but I would just follow the instructions they give you.

Pretty sure you're going to have to remove the Ubolts....

Great write up dude, I have printed it out getting ready to pull the trigger on the 6112 kit from HeadStrong Off-Road. I really wanted to get 2in of lift in the front but am worried about maxing out the 6112 to notch #6 and #5. Has anyone used these settings? The chart does say that #6 and #5 can be used with the DC.

I have asked the same question several times.
I have seen a few guys here do it and asked them.
All evidence I have seen so far says it is okay and they are happy with notches 6/5.
I was afraid of doing the same thing. Still am a bit, but feed back is saying it is just fine and rides smooth.

Thanks just trying to get some feed back really. I don't mind it being a little stiffer, I am coming from a sports car so I am use to a stiff ride lol. This is my 1st truck and never lifted only lowered.

If this will be for street us primarily and not rock crawling I think you will be happy with that setting.

I wouldn't hesitate. I do not think it's going to make much difference. That said, I wouldn't add a spacer to that setup. Leave it alone after you bump it to max settings.

Are you saying to not add the taco lean spacer?

Maybe some weekend off-roading here and there

Correct you need to read the difference between the 2nd Gen 6112s and the new 3rd Gen 6112s that I installed. Bilstein changed the design on the 6112s for the Third Gen Tacoma so that you Stagger the clip settings to account for Taco lean. So the max you will run them is #6 driver side and #5 passenger side.

Yes some people are using the spacer in combo with the new 6112s, but there is no reason to buy the extra hardware or to add the extra component to your suspension setup. Literally no reason for this... these are not designed to be run at #6/#6 plus Spacer. That is beyond the design spec for these Third gen version 6112s. The Spacer was intended for the previous generation 6112s.

I see I am going off this http://www.headstrongoffroad.com/store/p473/Performance_Bilstein_Kit_(HS16BK-2).html In the pic there is a spacer but could just be a reused pic. I did see that the shocks need to be set on 2 different settings #6 and #5 in my case if I want the 2in lift.

2" front and back. Factory tires. Alignment is same specs as stock. To go any higher compromises caster. Thank you smitty99 for the tutelage.

You want 6112 Part number 47-234413 for the third gen. They probably would like to sell you the spacer, that's more money for them

No need to add the spacer, though it isn't much more work to add it, it's just another component that could have an issue down the road. Also its just another expense you can cut from your budget.

How did you get 2" in the rear? Did you leave the O/L leaf in?

Good to know, I will have to talk to them and see if the pic is right and if I am getting the right 6112's and 5160's
