I have Cooper S/T Max tires in 285/75-16, which seems to be about 10% difference from stock. Also, my access cab is about 4200 lbs stock.

Here's a screenshot of mine so far. Still trying to figure out some of the settings. This is on my HTC one max. Got a refurbished 7" Acer iconia a100 that's supposed to arrive today. See how it works out. Got the tablet for $61. A cheap (yet very sturdy) mount, power inverter for the tablet all for $103! Pretty psyched. Plus the bafx adapter so all in all about $130 for everything in this custom scan gauge alternative I think I came out quite nicely:) Now to just figure out the settings in torque. Still dumbfounded as far as the mpg trim and speed modifiers go. Not sure what to do or if I even need to change anything. As far as speed goes, the ecu speed shows about 4mph slower than the dash needle shows. then gps speed shows 4-5mph faster than the needle shows.

Well, there. The discrepancy is going to be the tire size for sure then. GPS should be the most accurate.

I'm on 35"s and stock gears... I just use the torque app instead of my speedo. I know I can't trust my speedo at the rate of speed I travel. Want the 4.88's, funds and timing are off right now.

Right. Just didn't expect it to be that huge of a difference. So should I adjust the obd speed multiplier a bit to come close to the GPS speed? Seeing as the gps speed is kinda 'jumpy' I'd like to have the obd speed displayed for more accuracy. From 1.0 to what,4.0 if its off by 4mph? Or 1.4? Obviously I'll be testing it but won't be going out till later.

You can use the tacomaworld tire calculator and it will give you the proper difference.

Well how is the app adjusting it with the 'obd speed multiplier'? Is it the diameter difference or mph difference? Calculator says it's 3.74 diameter difference. Sounds right anyways. It doesn't specify what it's trimming. Just says 1.0, .9 is decrease, 1.1 is increase. Of what, diameter or speed?? Lol still:confused:

Edit: it's gotta be the diameter. Seeing as the mph difference varies depending on the speed. Der. Ok I'm just making it sound more complicated than it is. thanks.

I thought you mentioned adjusting the speed.... I miss read. I thought you wee going to get one of those electronic speed correctors that you put inline and shows the correct speed on the actual speedo.

I would just click on your settings and make sure they are all setup for high accuracy in the location settings on your device.

Ok so I put in 3.74 and it said I was doing over 100mph at 20mph. Lmao. I was CRUISIN!! Ha. Ended up lowering it a bunch of times until it got close. Turns out it only needed to go up from 1.0 to 1.11. Think it's as close as it's gonna get to gps speed. Got my tablet in the mail so I'll be hooking that up later. Stay tuned:cool:

Hmmmmmm... I just dont know. This 7" acer iconia a100 tablet is just letting me down big time:( I kinda like, kinda dont.Been messing with it all night. Got it pretty much set up and even connected it to my phone with the mobile hotspot if I ever needed it on the road. It LOOKS AWESOME as far as a tablet goes holding it in your hands, and the feel of it. Doesn't feel like a cheapo, yet it kinda performs like one. I think its probly worth the $60 I paid for It but... Idk, this tablet kinda sucks really. Screen viewing angles suck. It's pretty laggy when using it as a tablet as far as using things like live wallpapers, Internet browsing, downloading apps... Maps seems to work really well so thats a plus. Torque seems to run fine. And thats all I bought it for really. Dedicated torque display with nav and possibly music library. Although, I have to say the tablet is a little too big for torque. It's not even that much bigger than my phone, screen wise but still. The entire tablet is of course a lot bigger, but for what info there is for this app to go on screen, it was easily and PERFECTLY crammed into my HTC One Max. And thats a 5.9" screen. Fit perfect in the mount I got, And fits perfectly in the left hand side of the dash/windshield just behind the steering wheel. But the biggest factor for me with using my phone, is that I wanted to keep it that, a phone. I did not wanna deal with removing/replacing in truck every single time I get in/out! Sigh. So I tried multiple spots and angles and just couldnt seem to find the sweet spot for this tablet. I REALLY want it on the windshield as close to 'line-of-site' as much as possible so thats a no-go for mounting it low like in front of stereo or off to side. The gauges fit nicely on screen and were kept pretty much the same size (small for most), just spaced out a little more. They ended up just being a tad larger than on my phone, and I didn't really care for that either. If I had changed the size of the gauges one size smaller (to tiny), they were just way too... well... tiny, at that point (lol) and would've left a LOT of open space just on the main screen. And I didnt wanna fill it in with a HUGE speedo gauge, or fill it in with all the other useless gauges/sensors available, or something of that nature. Idk, I'll mess with it tomorrow in the daylight and take it for a drive and see how I like it. But I may end up selling this tablet to a friend and just use my darn phone. I took some pics too. Hard to tell how big it really is at night, which is why i'll take some shots tomorrow.
And sorry for the blurry shots. Could not get my camera to focus properly for nothin. sigh..:(

This is pretty much all the gauges I could throw on there, as I think anything else is just useless.

Here's a shot of the tablet mounted just above the dash. (Not diggin it)

And the left side where I like it best. 1st pic is the tab, 2nd is phone.

Kinda hard to tell but It's a big difference. Maybe I should just take a video or something. If anyone is even reading and caring about any of this shit I'm rambling on about.. Ha.. But I'm hoping it may help some who are deciding on going "big" on their screen. When IMO, is not really a good idea. It really does seem to work/look better on phones. At least the larger "phablet" type phones which most everyone has nowadays. I would say it would be a better investment just to upgrade your phone to a larger screen if you've still got a tiny one;) and dont mind the mount/dismount hassle aspect of it.

Much more and you'll need a screen to watch the road with......cool tho. I just wedge my phone between the visor and headliner when I want to see any of this stuff.

Mine actually popped up on its own! I think what I did, is at first I only had it displaying the sensors that were sending signal. Then I went in and looked at ALL the sensors and saw the tranny temps, put both on my screen, and one worked. Although I've seen it in my list as one that sends signal now. Hope that works for ya.

No clue how to root. Ha. But, I think I'm gonna rma this one. Ranked like the lowest of them all on benchmark. It's pretty sad. I thought I got a good deal, but the SHITTY touch screen response is what finally did it for me. Can't take it anymore. Ha.
