I never tried to check any lights, I pulled my PID code from quote #178. He stated that he was going to try and get the lights to work but I believe that was only in test mode.

I can't do it because you gotta have the OBD2 port jumpered to put the truck in test mode to see the lights come on or blink and at the same time you can't plug your Dongle into the obd2 port to use the PID torque program. I don't believe you can have both going at the same time that's why I was wondering how he was going to do that.

Has anyone been able to display the Torque app on their Entune headunits?

Also, how do you program a PID? I looked through the app a few times and didn't see where to start (I'm sure I missed it). I'd love to have the trans temps displayed.

PID is done through settings. I think its page 17 or so that has the settings you can use, or just browse back a few pages as I posted them. However some stuff may not work right on your 15 as my posting is for the 11's and lower.

As for the app on Entune, not sure I'll let someone else chime in. I've seen it run through App Radio (Pioneer).

Just got the BAFX OBD2 scanner and I am running torque pro. Everything ran awesome first go around. I came inside to eat dinner, came back out and now it won't connect to the ECU. Torque is paired with the scanner but the ECU will not connect.

I've reconnected, rebooted, reinstalled, turned on, turned off, etc. No luck.

Anybody had this problem? I am wondering if the ECU locked up and is blocking the scanner.

    Any suggestions help. Thanks.

go back thru the settings for the adapter in torque and there are a couple or few that address connection issues

This info shed some light on expected temps for the tranny fluid.
    http://www.toyotatundraforum.com/pdf/A750E.pdf

    Page 8:
The ATF warmer uses engine coolant to warm up the ATF quickly and keep the ATF temperature higher
(within limits). Consequently, the friction losses of the automatic transmission are quickly reduced, thus
    improving fuel economy.
Models equipped with an ATF cooler have a transmission oil thermostat to switch the ATF passages.

Sometimes I have to remove the adapter and plug it back in to the OBDII port.

Page 15 of that pdf also shows the temp sensor locations.

Your best bet is to get on the Torque forums and start poking around. It's a different ECU so a lot of the codes are not going to work correctly.

Someone wanna check my readings at idle? Not very knowledgeable on reading sensors and whatnot. Just wondering if my fuel trims and O2 sensors and the rest are looking about right. Took a couple snapshots at idle and at 2k rpms...

That's one nice thing about BT is how many things it can do at the same time.

Bad thing is audio through BT sounds bad. It's just convenient.

yea with all the cab noise and what not, I cant honestly tell the difference. it may also be the constant ringing in my ears from too many loud noises too. id like to have an audio system that I could tell a difference in, but its just not that big of a deal to me to sink time and effort into.

STFT1 reading -1% sounds fishy to me.

As in torque isn't registering properly, or I have an issue? Lol. Don't know Jack about fuel trims. I tried reading up on it but kinda got confused. Lol. I've been wanting to get my fuel pressure tested. Was gonna have my brother do it but he doesn't have the right fitting.

Actually I just read up some more on this. And seems the stft and ltft USUALLY is a good thing when there in the single digits. I still think I may have a fuel issue but probably leaky injectors. I'm more concerned with the 02 sensors, and maf rate. I'm using a air filter not designed for my cai. But never noticed a difference when I put it in. Going to change that eventually. But my 02 sensors I'm sure are way beyond their replacement range. Rear 02 is no bueno. Using a SIM. I just figured I'd be throwing some sort of code if things were way off. Been suspecting a mpg decrease but I keep faulting the lift/tires/wind resistance. But keep coming back to thinking I have some sort of issue that doesn't want to necessarily come right out and show itself.

Edit. And I've replaced the maf sensor. As well as the tpms sensor. Tpms seemed to take care of my hesitation when taking off. That's why I'm wondering if my front 02 sensor isn't working to the best of it's ability yet not quite enough to throw a code.(?)
