I did my first oil change today and believe I received the wrong oil filters.

I ordered a handful of Toyota part # 04152-YZZA1 but received Toyota part # 04152-YZZA5.

The YZZA5 filter is much larger in length. I am getting conflicting info saying it still fits. Is this correct or am I right the YZZA5 does not fit.

I did not want to risk it so I ended up using a WIX oil filter # 57047 and it was an exact size match.

    Thanks

A1 is the right one for your 16' 3.5 V6.

A5 is for the 4runner and later FJ cruiser.

Looks like you got your answer but just wanted to say you could also work backwards the wix website. The a1 interchanges into 57047 and the a5 into 57173

I believe you could use the larger filter but would need to get the longer chrome perforated tube that's in the filter canister of said trucks that filter "fits". Probably a 5$ part
