    Hi All.

I have a very, very nice 2001 7.3 Lariat Crew Cab Diesel 4X4 I kind of no longer need. It has has had a total front end re-build and other re-ferb items in the last year. Truck motor and trans are tight and have no issues. Does not smoke and starts real easy. Drives really really well.

I'm looking to trade/sell for a very specific Taco. Sure there is one out there somewhere or maybe close to what I want.......

Here go's: Quad Cab 4X4 5sp Supercharged Gen 1 Taco.

Cos I want this I'm sure someone has already done this.

I'm willing to drive anywhere in USA/Canada to meet up and trade (+/- Cash) for the right vehicle.....

    Anyone?

Look like you'll be searching for a needle in a hay stack. 1st gen double cab from factory did not have the 5 speed option, tho I'd seen some owners converting them over. Of the 3 I personally know, 2 are 5 speed with solid axle and 1 with non add (clean as heck) 5 speed. These 3 owner swear up and down to never sell them. 2 years ago, scamming through craigs, saw 1 for sell for about 20k using non add parts. I think you'll find more SA conversion then ifs DC 5 speed 4wd swap.

Why not just buy a pre and do the swap yourself? Pretty straight forward in my opinion, best bet will be, buy a junk 4wd part tacoma and swap everything over so you don't have to waste time looking for parts.

    Good luck on your quest

Yes......Difficult search but if something came close I'd consider it for sure.
