Hmm interesting. I got the GE one and it's supposed to be the best. It's fully SS inside and front. It's quiet which was the main reason I got it haha worked great last night. So nice to have.

Not sure. Where I am it will have little effect. Miners never stopped working. Ranchers never stopped. Two biggest industries here and the miners make great money. That's the biggest problem I have. Perhaps less people hunting for summer homes than usual but not much I'd imagine.

I know form shouldn’t be more important than function, but it has completely changed the look of your truck for the better too.

    At last.

Yeah it's awesome man. Big tires make everything easier.

I run mine at 32 but different size. I'd do the chalk test to see how the wear will be. I run 10 on the dirt bit again a different volume so I'd image yours would be around 15-18.

That is a start, I bought some used KM2s last year and this will be their last year of use. The KM2s are pretty loud but such is life with mud terrain tires.

Platinum and palladium. One of the highest output mines in the world for it.

I've done a mod or two
Got my IS300 back together today, seems happy. Long term Fuel trims for bank one and two are at 0, which is just absolutely so satisfying. It's so much more peppy now. Loved the new trans fluid for sure and fresh spark plugs. It was a great example of what a real full tune up can do to a car that really needed it. Just need to put a different rad cap on cause the one I got new is leaking :/

Also mocked these up and hated them

Yeah I didn't like the color and they poke too much. Way too much offset. The color is pretty fascinating in daylight versus spotlighting. but it's not something I'm going to want on the car once the car is blue.

Download a decibel meter app on your phone. I'm curious to how it compares to the noise in my truck. I think I'm around 70dB

Replaced my spherical bearings again, after less than 10K miles this time... seems like this is going to be a regular occurrence...

Two questions for those more knowledgeable:
    1. These are bearings from ADS, so I assume high quality. But, if I could do this once a year instead of 3x a year, I'd like that MUCH more. Suggestions?
    2. Unrelated question - I'm planning to sound deaden the cab since I want to take the carpet out to wash it anyway... Is a kit the best way to go, or can I just buy the right material somewhere for cheaper? Links please.

I think Brett had mentioned that maybe the SS one's would be worth it for you to try. But that's about your only other option.

For sound deadening. Go for the RAAM matt stuff. They sell "kits" that are just bundles of their mass loaded material and absorption. Plus good instructions. I've been meaning to do mine forever with the stuff. This is what Dan used in his I believe as well, not that you'd know because you've never done a truck shuffle :luvya:

Yep, the RAAMaudio stuff is a great deal - good quality at a much more reasonable price than Dynamat or one of the "well known" brands. The Package #1 kit is what I used, covered the doors, Xtracab panels, rear wall, and the entire floor up into the wheel wells with a little to spare. It won't cover the roof, but I didn't want to remove the headliner anyway.

    Thanks for the business!

I sell FK's IMO the best you can buy but they are originally a industrial application that has been used on shocks for decades in race applications and now OEM bolt in coilovers, unfortunately they don't last forever.

I also need to strip the cab of my truck to try and sound deaden, I will hopefully make some time this summer to do that.

I wish I knew of any better options, they all seem to be made about the same. Maybe some minor differences in the quality of the machined surface of the inner bit. We use ones from McMaster at work, they seem good, and we put them in farm equipment that farmers will use so long that we have to weld and re bore the hole for the bearing though. Who knows how long they actually last, farmers will use them well beyond their service life haha.

I have the King wobble stoppers but the ID doesn't fit the Icon spacers. But really I think adding them might keep more junk in than they keep out. I will look into this more this summer. It might be worth it to offer a no swaybar centered spacer kit and covers that fits all 95+ Toyota's.

    Perfect, thanks both.

Thanks Tim. I can't tell if what you're saying is, "These wear out quickly no matter if you get them from me or ADS" or "FK's are higher quality than ADS but still eventually wear out."

Either way - what's your price on a bearing, and do you think they are better than what ADS puts in? (not to knock ADS, but I assumed that as a high-end racing shock, they'd put in good stuff that matches the quality of their shocks in general). Tyler sold me 10 of his for $7.50ea (+shipping, but I only wanted to pay shipping once so bought a bunch). Feel free to PM if you'd rather not post here.
