You sell the rtt yet/get a tipi? or whats ur plan?

 

I totally agree on the where you live thing, so I see you are a surveyor?

 

It appears to be that way. Ill have to catch up sometime.

I haven't sold it yet...or even listed it. I know Josh showed some interest so maybe he will buy it . I am still researching the tipis but I think I narrowed it down to a few options.

 

sort of, not licensed yet... I also spend some time in the office drafting. I do work out of Lander so I spend lots of time over there

cool Gage, when i looked at the tipi's i had questioned what you do when you dont have nice solid ground/rocky ground to stake into? seems like the design is heavily reliant on that

 

Still thinking about it not sure if I should go that route or save it for suspension upgrades..

 

Nice, in the summer I work for GDA Engineers up here and cody and heber city Utah, and I do quite a bit of surveying, we just hired a new gis guy from new york

 

Next time I see you Josh you can have a rip driving big cheese to make sure it's what you want to do suspension wise Shoulda stuck you behind the wheel too that time monte drove...

 

Ahhh cool man, I used to run the GIS stuff for a uranium mining company here in town until we got bought out... What do you guys run for survey gear? Trimble/Leica?

 

It seems that a lot of them are fairly flexible with how they stake out. Since the foot print is so big I figured I could find a flat enough spot. I will probably have a cot for truck camping so I could just level that out with rocks.

Well think away. I think ill use it until snow comes and then list it.

 

Sounds like a plan I think for what i plan on doing with the truck it would be a nice step-up. And really that's about as good as it gets before you get into the realm of LT/SAS.

Yes...but super fast version. Or i would be cool to do like a big loop or something. Has to be possible with all the gas/oil line roads out there. they go for MILES
