Sadly...no ha not an easy to do it at all.

Cleanest way is running all new cable but that sucks and is expensive.

You can just extend them by soldering too but doing that with such big cables isn't always fun either.

Too late to trade the battery??

bummer. yeah, too late to trade really. luckily i have side terminals also so after fiddling with it i think can flip the battery (terminals toward the cab) and reach the side terminals with the main power/ ground and use the top terminals for accessories. i'll have to re-run the power to the stock fuse block (6 gauge i think) but that shouldn't be that hard. hopefully i can find the conversion post for the side terminals and skinnier "military" style connectors. not a whole lot of room to work with in there

would probably work but like monte said, not cheap by any means

What's wrong with welding cable over power cable made for vehicles? I've never heard of people having issues with it before, other than some poeple complain it doesn't look as good for audio installs

oh stahhhhp. She'd probably get an auto frs if we're gonna be realistic. She has no patients for a manual at the time being. She can drive my truck just fine but just hates taking the time to do it...

That has been my intention all along. Just picking up the necessary pieces. Found a good deal on the BlueSea piece the other day, $145 after shipping.

I would still prefer to do both batteries on the stock location tho.

 

Never cared for manual's... But now that I know how to ride a motorcycle I really want one....
