the main reason why we afford you Canadians the protection of our nuclear umbrella is because we buy 2x the oil from you as compared to our next largest trading partner. oh and because you have lots of hot chicks.

The Federal government has been over stepping its bounds for a long time now. I think we will start to see more and more states step out against federal power. We are seeing it now with obamacare. We can never forget that states originally formed the federal government, so the federal govs power comes from the states and the people. I think over the years to come you will see states starting to use the nullification process to disregard federal laws that are unconstitutional. If enough states say no to the Feds, there isn't really too much the Feds can do about it. Never forget, the only way a government can control people is if the people consent to be controlled. As soon as people stop giving their consent, and enough people stop consenting, the government loses power to impose its will on the people.

There are also other states working legislation to become constitutional carry states. Utah, Kentucky, Colorado, West Virgina, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Idaho and Maine.

We are also working to become a Constitutional Carry state in Wisconsin, but right now we have a budget issue and legislators hiding from doing their jobs, first.

I know here in TX we have open carry, not sure about the other two states though. But seriously I heard somewhere they made a law that everyone in a certain county was required to own a gun and thebreak In rate dropped to zero. Not sure if this is true or not but if this was ever implemented I'm sure the results would be the same

    Well said.

    :facepalm:Mis-fire!

On your first point, what were you waiting for? Proved your combat skills, but no right to exercise them privately. Must have waited too long?

On your second point, A-L-A-S-K-A ....Hello?:p

    Yeah...that's why we're one of the four!:quickdraw:

    Very entertaining thread! Thanks folks!
