Soo by May I'll be getting a Taco and was selecting options on the dealers website when X-SP was checked I was unable to also check for Sport soo is it not possible to have both? And if given the choice which would you go for?

My driving will be all street no off roading and the color will be Mag Gray and was at first thinking of going black rims but I think the 20 inch XSP rims would look nice on the dark color I'm just hoping to get some info from anyone with either XSP or Sport or even XSP/Sport (if they exist).

EDIT: wanting to go either XSP 20's or the rare FJ TRD wheels

Get an Sport and then buy the XSP 20s (by far the best looking 20s out there IMHO). Thats gonna look sweet on a Mag Grey.

Any links or prices as to what thos XSP 20's run? while XSP package WOULD be nice i'd be adding in some sound and then there goes the carbon fiber kit. For the price of the XSP do you just get the carbon, wheels, exhaust tips and badging?

    Quite possibly, someday...
I'd go with that advice, Sport would offer the ability to hit up a trail or two if you feel but the X-SP won't...ever. Besides if you throw the 20's on the Sport that would be siiiiiiiiiiiiiick.

My buddy has a X-SP with the 20's and every time we take the Jetskis to the beach he gets stuck. EVERY TIME! I drive my Sport right by him and wave. (I also have 4x4 so....) Anyway, I know you guys can drive on the beach in Daytona and its a pretty popular thing to do.

My advise, go with the Sport and add your own Mods and build it exactly the way you want it.

It's nice to drive on the beach for a visit but the effect wears off when you've lived hear all your life. So what I'm getting is that it's better to take the $3k the XSP package costs and buy the XSP rims. Closest thing I get to a trail is a dirt road in the far side of the county.

No love for the sport mag gray with the FJ trd wheels?

I'm just torn between wanting to go all dark: tint and trd rims or going dark tint n the XSP (btw how much do the XSP wheels run?)

X-SP's have 2 package levels (I believe). The difference between the two is the second package has a leather interior with X-SP stitching in the headrests. I have a package 1.

The cool thing is you can have an X-SP and Sport package on the same truck. Though rare and expensive...I remember seeing a couple floating around.

Its not just exhaust tips...its a full Borla catback exaust. You also get a Borla intake.

I guess it depends on your preferences and what you're trying to get out of the truck. 20's on a Taco will always give problems if going "off road"...like the beach in your case. It looks damn good on the street though!

So my vote is X-SP...but of course I'm biased :D

Its an add from South East Toyota (World Omni -- the finance arm of Toyota for the South East). They take the trucks to the ports in Jacksonville, FL and add the rims, exhaust, intake, CF interior, X-SP running boards, etc. You'll only see the package sold by dealers in the South East. You can check out my profile for some pics

This is the only one my dealer lists as being an option:
I don't want leather since I'd get some neoprene seatcovers anyway, how does that X-SP exhaust sound?

That is the Package 1...same package that I have. The exhaust sounds sweet...you can never go wrong with Borla! Give it a test drive so you can hear for yourself

I'm also looking into the future as in purchase in March, I'd NEVER pay sticker at this dealer I have a inside help there thru my bro who's boss walked onto the lot in 05 (afte r the 06 Tundras came out) and walked off with a 05 Tundra stickered at $39 for $27 because of ONE phone call....... I can't reveal that source but I've been assured I'd get the same help
