xbox prices dropping.....

xbox prices are dropping for the series x. stores have series x's every time i go in. anyone following if they are planning a new system drop or is the big rush on the series x's finally in the hands of the consumer. is it a christmas ploy to get people to buy?

Looking at this and thought.. no way do they come out with a new one. I am not up to date on gaming systems, last time i was really into em was about a 10-15 years ago when i was in my later teens. But then i see that Xbox third gen has 3 versions, first one was 3 years apart, and second one was 1 year after. Possibly they are coming out with a new version of the forth gen? It has only been out for 3 years which i remember back when i had my n64, gamecube and wii was a very short time before a new console version got released.

Look at the time between second and 3rd gen.

maybe it is both, getting ready for a new version of 4th gen and trying to sell out current ones to keep sales flowing.

 

I gotta be honest - I'm still on the XBone.

I've been waiting for a game that just absolutely screamed "I gotta play that." There have been occasional releases for the X and the ps5 that looked nice, but nothing so nice that it would motivate me to run out and buy a console.


The price is going to have to drop a little more to motivate me. Or.. An awesome game comes out.

 

I want to make a new og Xbox or do better with the backwards compatibility. As much as I enjoy my series x the new games are lacking.
