As odd as it is, we haven't had any reported "bounce" issues with LED bulbs. With the HID bulbs, there is been reported "bounce" issues with the Philips rebased bulbs, our standard XenonDepot HID bulbs and also with other brand HID bulbs.

When you say DRL, do you mean the low high beams? Because to ME DRL means Daytime Running Lights which are ORANGE on my truck!

Ok I have a problem I noticed after a few days. I have the xenon depot 4300k philips hids. The passeneger side hid light doesnt come on sometimes. To get it to turn on when it doesnt wanna light up, I have to keep turning the lights off and on again until the passenger side fires up. Does anybody know if i did something wrong? Most of the time they both turn on fine. Heres a pic of when i started up my truck to drive to the store and the passenger side light didnt turn on.

Seems like a bad ballast. I had crappy eBay lights that one did this. Switched them and the other side was having the problem. Try that to make sure

Sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with your Xtreme HID kit but I can further help you out. Since passenger side is not always coming on it's most likely a connection issue since with HID bulbs and ballast they either work or don't.

Can you send me a PM with your order info and I'll help you troubleshoot the issue.

I'm curious, are the Philips HID bulbs made in Europe? Or are they Chinese? I've purchased many HID kits in the past and ran into one consistent issue. The seller would advertise the kit as German or whatever, but when reading the actual description on the bulb part, you'd find "Made in China".

In all honesty, I've actually used kits, such as Innovited, that are probably Chinese, and they work 100% perfectly for many years. So I'm just asking out of curiosity, if anyone happens to know.

I THINK that this did actually work. I bought one 9005 light and used the o-ring from it. Put it in the truck..drove around (with my other headlight still being LED) and I didn't notice any shake...so I went down and bought another bulb, put it in on the other HID and in the process of trying to tighten it down in my headlight the bulb clips actually snapped off..rip. I do wanna say that it did significantly help or get rid of the shake. Sadly I will never know now.

Placed order night of thanksgiving and received earlier today. Awesome shipping from Canada to California.

Install went smooth, followed the OPs post regarding wiring the relays. Worked out great. Went with the 5K bulbs since I wanted both Low and Xtreme LED Fogs to match and am very happy with the night time driving.

Man I'm really considerings the 4300k Phillips HIDs but with so many people saying they're getting shakes im pretty damn hesitant to throw that much cash at them...

Had same concerns while installing Phillips 4300 kit delivered yesterday. Bulbs fit snugger than stock. Took some oomph to push and twist in but not too much. Bulbs feel very secure, at least for now. Did not install included relays.

Drove some bumpy roads and no shaking but gonna watch for it. May need to drop them a bit but the results are fantastic! Vision now close to HID projectors we have in other vehicles. For an old guy with fading vision the value factor on this mod is off the charts.

Now the high beams don't add so much. Anyone with this same Phillips 4300 kit replaced their high bulbs and what works? Thinking performance halogen bulbs for those reflectors. Not used much so shorter life not an issue.

Thanks to the OP and all who contributed to this discussion! Gave me the courage to take the plunge and install myself.

Yeah I think I might jut go for it, if it is that I do get some bouncing I can probably live with it depending how bad it is.
Where im at there's been a lot of rain and the standard halogen lights I cant see NOTHING at night, have hit some puddles and almost hydroplaned because the standard halogen lights nearly illuminate anything in the rain.
