I do love the output the HIDs provide, but for me personally I can't stand the shaking. Its very noticeable and the roads around here are so bumpy I see it almost every other second.
@XenonDepot I'll let you know when I swap the o-rings and if its continues...I'd love to keep using the HIDs if I can get the shake/bounce to stop.

The optional item is the PWM anti-flicker module which prevents flickering and error codes. This is not needed for the Tacoma.

Sorry, you are experiencing this issue but we'll help you and the others to eliminate it.

Can you send me a PM with your order info and I'll have a new pair of o-rings sent to you.

Here is a video from driving around the block yesterday, tried to capture the shake on video.
This was the best I could get where it was somewhat noticeable on video. In person, its MUCH more noticeable...also in the videos it's hard to keep my hand steady when going over bumps..but I think the shake is visible in my video to most if you look in the middle hotspot area. I'm gonna swap the o-rings tonight for sure and test.

I guess I'm lucky then I have the XenonDepot HID kit with Phillips bulbs. I've had them since May and only used them on cloudy days so last week I actually drove at night and didn't notice any shaking.

@XenonDepot got my lights in but for some reason my driver side will not work. I've checked my ground points and connections. What else do I need to try?

If you used the relay you can bypass it and just do a direct connection, that's what i did. After that just start swapping bulbs then ballast with other side and do a process of elimination. Basic trouble shooting!

@XenonDepot just swapped o-rings and did another test drive, same thing.

Got more footage if you’d like to see it.

0:50 to 1:00 shows it pretty good - just look in the center of the light. Sorry for the music, couldnt figure out how to mute the video.

I don't know if that is a shake in your light as much as it your truck bouncing. These lights do a much better job filling the void than halogens and LEDs. Because of this the lights are much brighter at the cut off making it more noticable. I didn't really see any shake in the lights, the lights moved as your truck bounced up and down on the road.

after watching it again i can see the shake. I'd get Danny to send you his rings to see if that fixes the issue. I have the Philips and have not ever had the shakes that bad, even on a washboard road....also, you have good taste in music my friend

I just installed Xenon Depot Led Highs and the Phillips 4300 hid low beams in my tacoma. Had a hell of a time getting my hands in to reconnect the washer tank after I had removed it. Unbelievable difference over the stock bulbs, very impressed.

Haha, love me some Kid Cudi!

Yeah, I guess that's the next option to try honestly, larger o-rings. The bulbs feel pretty secure now but I don't know...I've never noticed any type of bounce with my LEDs. I know they are not as bright technically...but I feel like I would of seen at least a little shake going down these bumpy roads or fire roads. I had them on for nearly a year and never once noticed any shake/bounce from them..but with the HIDs as soon as I left my house and was going down my neighborhood road I could tell, just going over small changes in the road.

I honestly feel like people think I may be like flashing them when they're shaking and I'm passing somebody, lol.

@XenonDepot Am I ok to remove the bulbs but leave everything else in the system in and hooked up? I plan on putting back in my LEDs until/if the shake can be solved.

Have you tried to put the o-rings from the LED bulbs into the HID bulbs to see if that makes a difference?

Yes, you can just remove the bulbs and leave everything else in there.

Had mine for a month now, never noticed any shake. Pretty shitty roads here in CA too.

Looking at the o-rings from the Hikaris, they look to be a tad bit smaller than what I have on the HIDs now.
