that pic of your cv angle, was that after the diff drop?

where did you get your lift stuff and what did it cost? i am thinking of running the same set up. What was your alignment after and how far off from 0 was it with the 3" of lift?

Nice! I have a 2000 model of the same color. I have a 3" spacer/block lift because i'm a broke HS student lol. I'm gonna some 33's next summer when I make some money. Idk if I agree with blacking out the emblems, I like a little bit of chrome, I still want black rims, but your Truck looks good! I think some chrome centerpeices on the rims would do wonders though. Also, you can't forget about subs if you don't have them already! check out my sound system thread and see what you think! might give you an idea...its very efficient

how big of a diff drop did you get? and did you have any problems with getting your skid plate back on?

Got the diff drop from ToyTech, I am pretty sure it's the only one they have, so I don't know what size. Seemed to work like a charm.
I haven't put my skid back on yet. I keep thinking if I don't bout it on I'll buy an aftermarket, has yet to work lol.

on your stock skid just oval out the front three bolt holes, and back two for belly pan. i took the old nuts from the bolts used before the diff drop and put them between skid and frame where the long bolts go on the front skid you might have to use longer bolts.

the larger nuts from the set used to mount the diff. werent welded on mine. i dont know about years after.i just used them as spacers and the skids fit snug and everything is protected at least from little rocks

are you refering to the nuts for the diff bolts? or for the skid plates?

I used the nuts from the original Diff bolts. I took them and placed them on top of the skid plate where the recessed bolt for the skid plate goes to make it snug and the skid plate wont have a soft spot if you hit a rock. I have been meaning to silcone or tack it on so it doesnt fall off every time I take my skids off but havent done it yet.

I think it would look pretty cool if you satoshied your 2wd grill you dont see that ever on A 4wd Taco

Nice rig. Dig how it turned out.

Just wondering, how well did your Pro Comp steelies clear your front calipers?

The reason I ask is that there is usually a lip around the back side of the round holes in the rim, and on my Pro Comps, that lip was so close to my calipers that I had to use some Spydertrax wheel adapters to move the wheels out so they'd clear.

Did yours clear the caliper well? I have 16" rims now but I've been thinking about going 15"...not sure if for some weird reason there was a clearance difference from the 16" to the 15".

Mine cleared just fine. They are 15x8 with a 3.75 BS. Don't know if that is different than the pro comp ones you got, but mine work great.

Our trucks are almost twins! Just a few differences. I finally got some black rims and love the look on a brugundy truck.

Bumper is made by Elite Off Road, who makes some of the nicest shit I've seen. Eventually I'll get a rear from him too.
Still gotta throw my sliders on, just been busy with work and such.
