Did you end up getting the kit? If so, what did you think about it?

    Ditto!
Working on getting this 5.3 L33 installed (It’s been refreshed with some updates & upgrades) along with a New Old Stock Tremec TKO *Edit* TKO was sold because a gentleman offered me $1000 more than I paid for it so we went to a new TKX with a billet twin disc clutch and back to 3.31 gear and a Truetrac. The TKX gears are more evenly spaced and can take shifts @ 7000 rpm’s.
I have the two piece 4 piston StopTech’s in the front (lower photo) but might need a bit more brake. I wanted 6 piston calipers but was told they wouldn’t fit the rotors.
Are the rear brakes even worth $1900 from SOS/Tundra Racing⁉️ No one but SOS makes rears for a five lug. Again anyone convert to disc rear brakes?

Not sure if you would get any benefit from rear conversion unless you are tracking/autocross/drifting.

I'm wondering if any other Toyota model rear disc could be an inexpensive "junk yard" conversion. Heck my 06 Sienna has rear disc. Should be the other way around.

I would have ponied up the funds. But with my truck and having a manual transmission the clutch/brake master cylinder would not work or the pedal turns to mush. I’m not forking over $1900 for rear disc brakes to have a shitty brake pedal! Shit for that price I could almost swap in a Ford 8.8 rear diff with factory disc brakes.
I used to have respect for Tom @ SOS but not anymore. Shit I’ve purchased 3 sets of two piece front StopTechs from Tom. Tom is now as bad as Gadget. They don’t care if it works as long as you keep feeding them your card number. I purchased a POS (Rotrex) system and after I started reading about all the shafts snapping I couldn’t sell that POS fast enough.
I’m not purchasing anything else from either company anymore, lesson learned…
The gentleman who doing my LS swap mentioned URD for fuel pump kit and I asked him to please take down that information. I’m not pointing anyone his direction.
