I feel like I'm missing something in the chronology, so I'm leaving this one blank as to not back myself into a corner with the 20 image limit (this is t4r limitation, not sure about TW)

Sliders are all welded up and painted, just need to weld to frame. Maybe tomorrow if the weather doesn't suck

Shameless bus pics because I love my job. Can't wait to get back to it!

    Winshield Wiper Tank Relocation
When putting on the 35x10.50s, I started to have some pretty significant tire to wiper tank contact.

    [IMG] [IMG]

I just let it go for a while, but eventually I cracked the wiper tank while out with some buddies. Then, I finally decided it was time for relocation
    [IMG] [IMG]

I was originally planning to follow the Silver Rhino Media guide (linked here), but after ordering the Dorman tank, I just didn't like how it fit with the v6 intake. So, I got a different container I liked at Walmart and made my own brackets. Along the same principles as the Silver Rhino Media guide, so I won't go into a whole lot of detail as its already covered excellently there.

    Drilled holes for my pumps
    [IMG]

Started by making a bracket that utilized 2 rivnuts in the fender apron
    [IMG] [IMG]

Then added a leg down to the wheel well, and made sure to space it far enough forward that the bolt head won't be rubbing into the tire. A strap then holes the tank to the bracket
    [IMG] [IMG]

Then it was ready for paint! Also added some weather stripping to the strap to really keep it snug in there.
    [IMG] [IMG]

Right now its hooked up a little wonky. Did the final install at night before leaving on a trip, and I couldn't get the front pump wiring cable management clips unhooked in the dark. The front and rear pumps have different wiring connectors and I wanted to at least have the front fluid working, so I plumbed the front nozzles into the rear pump. Once this snow clears I'll get it hooked up right, but at least it works for now!

End of CopyPasta from my T4R build
Hopefully all you readers enjoyed it thus far. I try to put a lot of pictures so that its interesting. All pictures are hosted externally, as to not eat up server space. Feel free to comment or ask questions and I'd be happy to answer!

If you see any random HTML tags, I apologize lol. I marked up some of my older T4R posts in HTML, but switched to BBCode somewhere in the middle. Threw everything in an HTML to BBCode converter and didn't go over it all with a fine tooth comb

Yo, thanks for transferring this all over. Gave it a read during a boring meeting today at work haha I think I'm going to copy your filler plate you made from the bumper to skid plate. Seems like an easy enough project. My bumper cover is slightly broken from the PO and I think it'll help rigidity it up.

    Good stuff

Thanks for reading! I believe we have the same titanium 125 welder and I really like it. Thats was a good project for me to get my feet wet, and hopefully it helps with the front cover!

Did you nail the shifts correctly on your first try for the temp check mode?

2nd try. First time I fudged it trying to do on my own, but 2nd try I followed exactly the same time in the video, watching as I was shifting, and it went right in

Yessir! I just need to get my little HF folding welding table now.. I keep waiting for it to get back in stock locally but may end up ordering online and paying the shipping just to get it.

I do lol. I'm not on t4r.org, just this and 4runners.com, so I'm subbed for mod ideas for my 4runner

Also that's a real long boi. I always thought I'd enjoy being a bus driver, seems like a good time. Get in, drive your routes, crack some bad dad jokes to the regulars, go home.

on t4r everyone is always structured and super on topic, but on TW everyone chats about everything which I really enjoy. I'll post more t4r stuff soon, have parts sitting around that need installing

its pretty fun and actually one of my favorite jobs! This is a 60ft bus, which is kinda like a 30ft bus pulling a 30ft trailer that is also a bus, but its a little different. Namely the only drive axle is the very rear one in the trailer. This bus service is for a college town and mostly drives from various apartments around town to school and back. I'm go to college here too so its fun to drive my friends on the bus. I really want to drive the friday or saturday night buses that run until 3am and play sing along songs for all the drunk people

Also finally got around to finishing my Poor Eagle. I bought the parts ages ago, but never got around to properly fitting the shims. Main goal for this was to have a smaller and lighter jack to carry around, instead of the 80lb steel 3 ton jack. Looking back now as I type this up, it does seem the prices have increased since I purchased.
I used the HF 1.5 ton Aluminum jack: The Pro Eagle Lift Pad: https://www.proeagle.com/products/floor-jack-lift-pad-00000
The Pro Eagle 5-8" extension: https://www.proeagle.com/collection...floor-jack-extension-00000?variant=4488891716
    25mm ID Shim rings: https://www.mcmaster.com/98055A254/

The shim rings go in between the Pro Eagle pad and the HF center pin. The HF center pin is smaller than what is intended for the Pro Eagle pad, so the shim rings fill the gap

The shim rings ID is perfect, but the OD needs to be shaved a bit. I tried doing it the other way with a washer of proper OD and an ID that needed drilling, but that did not turn out well. Shaving down the OD was much easier. I used 3 shim rings total

I used this disc sander setup I made for my lathe
    [IMG] [IMG]

This is how much I needed to shave down the rings for proper fitment
    [IMG] [IMG]

And here is the final assembly

Thanks dude! Yeah I've been spending more time over here because there's just more people to talk too and bounce ideas off of. Sometimes it feels like t4r is slowing down

Yup, I noticed it was a lot slower over there when I first got my 4R. Also the forum itself is slow, at least for me. It's also blocked at work and TW isn't.

I had that too at my internship, where t4r was blocked, which is probably how I got into this lol

Saw this on t4r original poster/fabricator originalg00kster, but its currently my favorite 4th gen rear bumper. Love how its really integrated into the plastic bumper, yet all the low hanging fruit is trimmed off. All the other ones I've seen look like diapers. I'm going to need to cut about 1" off the left side of the frame too and french in some non swiss cheese metal and remake the rear body mount. Cross member end caps are also gonezo. This definetly long term project, but dropping these here as my inspiration

Also undecided on swingout. I see it being a major PITA to get the tailgate open, but at the same time, its a really convenient place to put the tire without crowding the inside space. Maybe something with removable swingout, although that sounds like a hassle too
