Wondering what length bars everyone is running...I'm thinking I need 60" but I'm getting a great deal on 68" ones. Will this be overkill? Putting on a RTT and an awning.

    Thoughts?

I had the 60” (min spec. width). If you do the 68” the end caps would align almost exactly perpendicular to the outside edges of the tires.

They're just extruded aluminum, not Adamantium or anything special. Take the end cap off, chop it to desired length with a hacksaw, circular saw with a wood cutting blade or any other tool you like and put the end cap back on.

Ex. See 3:25 for how to remove the cap and to see what the extrusion looks like- that's what gives it its strength.

To answer your question on bar length though, I use the 66" round bars on my system. I like having the extra real estate for extra boats, hanging things like a solar shower or my sleeping bag on, etc.
