Just wondering how many Tacoma owners have been given thumbs down or yelled at BY AMERICAN!! by drivers of mostly GM trucks. It has happend several times to me. The angriest guy was in front of me at an intersection and got out and yelled by American or get the hell out of my country!!!
He was apparently the proud driver of a Silverado with USA flags in the windows

Because it's an American company doesn't mean it's made in America!

I've had this conversation with a few people. They tell me they buy American and I ask them if they bought a Toyota? Of course they say no and I ask where was it assembled. Usually they don't know. Mine was built at the NUMMI plant in California before the economy went bust and GM pulled out basically leaving Toyota with no other option to pull out also leaving the UAW workers out of work. Of course the UAW protested and demanded some recourse from Toyota for leaving them out of work but I never read anything about GM getting being protested for pulling out of NUMMI. Toyota was partly if not wholly responsible for getting Tesla to use the NUMMI facility to test and build their electric cars.

I find that people that drive GM products tend to be assholes. Maybe it's because they're driving POS vehicles.
