yelled at for driving toyota

Was yelled at once when I drove a German car. First rode trip in the Tacoma was to the San Antonio Toyota plant. Lemme tell you, if you've never been to see cars/trucks made then that factory tour is a damn fine one. Oh, yeah, and they were all Americans building those vehicles.

 

Well actually Canada and Mexico are both in America ... North America ... .

Fifteen years ago I used to get shit from the GM plant rats for owning a Toyota. I even had drivers throw crap out of their window at me. The plant rat mentality was something else.

I concur! My boss is a big on buying American. He gave me shit for buying a Taco, but he drives a Silverado ....echo en Mexico

 

For some reason only Japanese vehicles only appeal to me. They have what I need and they're usually not ugly.

I had a person come into my shop and lecture me for carrying Yokohama brand tires. He then got into his BMW, and his daughter in her Honda, and drove off. I'm pretty sure I had an abundant eye-twitch going on by the time he left.

 

Yeah was told I was Ant-American because of my Tacoma I asked him if he would like the my Ant-American Glock

I was flipped off on the mass pike buy a guy and his wife about a year ago. Once he passed me, I saw his rear window was littered with buy american propaganda.

My usual response to these people is to tell them to go home and throw out everything in their house not made in America and to come back tomorrow and tell me what's left. Generally shuts them up quick because they know they would come back half naked and with an empty house.

anyone that yells about driving a Toyota is simply undeducated and ignorant. I just shrug them off knowing damn well I'm driving a more "American" made truck than theirs.
