As above, what went in can come out. Hammer as exactly in the reverse direction of how you pulled as you can. May be worth using a short piece of rebar or a sacrificial socket extension between the hammer and hook. Angle grinder if it doesn't work.

Don't forget to touchup primer/paint any bare metal once the hook is out.

Invest in some GOOD shackles and GOOD 3" recovery straps and put some recovery points on your truck. Makes a world of difference. I use Crosby shackles and wheelers off-road strap

Traded in the last one, going to start modifying this soon.
Dude, you wedged that in there pulling a Polaris out. What you need is a bigger Polaris to pull it out of the wedge.

The only thing I can think of is... wrap another strap through the hook, not the eye, and wrap that around the under side of a floor jack or a tree root. Then find a solid place near by that is higher than the axle and start jacking. It needs to go towards the front of the truck too so you might have to find a way to jack it up with the jack handle towards the front or jack from a location closer to the front of the truck.

Or. Do everything in reverse. Take your truck outside, pull the stuck strap to the front of your truck, put a mulch pile in front of your truck/over the top of the rope, climb the mulch in your Taco, get it stuck, then hook up the mule to the strap and give it a slow pull. and video the whole thing!

Just whack it with a hammer until it falls out. Won't take much.

Propane torch around the hole to heat the metal, then start tapping with a hammer and it should drop out eventually.

OMG, can't believe you made a comment like this. Have you had your head handed to you yet?
(I'm being sarcastic mind you. Keep up the good work. We need more humor in here. And people to lighten up.)

    Size 12 should do.
But all seriousness aside, heat around the hole, and pound it out.
