You'd figure that if it's coming out within 30-45 days that they'd have to be producing at least some already, so the engine figure must be set I would think. I wonder why all the secrecy. Hopefully they're mind blowing numbers that make GM's head explode along with the rest of the tacoworld.

It's not going to blow GM out of any kind of water. Just like the GMs, it will be scratching red line towing any kind of considerable load up a hill.

Obviously the more important thing to know is how fast it does a 1/4 mile unloaded.

lol, I was thinking more along the lines of more torque than hp (unlike gm) and really good mpg numbers. But yeah clearly the 0-60 in a truck is the most important number we'll all be looking for. I would say if it's the 270hp like that possible leak stated, and 290-300 torque along with 27 mpg's highway for the v6 that would be petty much seal the deal. I know they do that kind of testing on tfltruck, but I wouldn't be buying a Tacoma if I had any kind of regular use towing 7,000lbs up a hill.

0-60 and 1/4 mile times are what's important?

I've seen this in any master Herold articles. I looked it up and seems to be some middle east reporting. The part about the seat belt must not translate well

I did see base price increase, of approximately 2000. But after checking lots, a twin can cost in upwards of 42,000 before incentives. Tacoma's top out below that.

    Loaded gmc will cost more.

I have never owned a chevy. Not sure why, I've had a few pieces of junk. When the mechanic comes to your house and gives you a good deal, he knows you will be back.

I really liked the colorado size and exterior styling, but not much else.

    Yes sir
Not sure why we needed another thread about it considering even if someone has been in isolation there are like 100 other threads about the exact same thing going on right now....
