Yet another tonneau/rack question

Greetings!

I am a new (used) Tacoma owner ('06 Reg Cab, with about 90K). Like many I have a desire to configure my Taco with a roll-up tonneau AND a pair of racks suitable for hauling my 17' canoe.

I have searched and found several threads with theoretical designs, and one thread where one clever welder built a single rack for some lights and simply bolted through the side rails.

Some of these threads are several months old, now, and I am wondering if anyone has but these theoretical designs into reality could post pictures, or even a 'build-a-long'.

Perhaps someone knows of a commercially available solution that works for an 06 Tacoma?

they have 2 models, utility model puts the cross bars above your roof line. I have been debating getting one.

Does anyone have any experience with this rack?
