15% Tint, 5100's at 1.75, Rear Diff Breather, CB radio, Black rattle canned rims, 265/75/16 Goodyear MTR, Magnaflow Offroad pro cat back, hi-lift bed mounted, shovel bed mounted
so im planning on running my 5100's at 2.5 and getting the rear leaf tsb

i also am going to run 285/75/16 General Grabbers (im doing the cab mount chop)

i do offroad also, not a mall crawler...

so my question is, how much down travel will i have in the front? will my truck be level, or close? and how will the ride be?

also what problems should i expect?

    Thanks in advance

Tagging this as I am about to order up and do the exact same thing, save the tire upgrade but I may do that in the future too.

Where are you getting the 5100s from? Any good deals on those around?

This has been covered at length multiple times in many many threads. Search 5100 and you can read to your little heart's content. To the OP, you have a TRD Off Road which means you have progressive coils in the front. It will ride stiff because you're preloading a progressive coil. EricT, you have a TRD Sport so your coils are linear which means they'll still be stiff but not quite as bad. If you want to maintain, or improve the ride quality, get coils with the 5100's and let them do the lifting rather than preloading the stock coil.

"Level" at 2.5" is in the eye of the beholder. I think it's nose high at 2.5 personally and would set them to 1.75".

You'll have to wait til someone else chimes in about tire size. I haven't ventured much into that territory, I'm still running stock size tires.

They got you a bit more on the price, but thankfully you're installing them yourself; otherwise they would've brought out the lube for YOU.

At 2.5 and only a TSB in the rear you will sit nose high by about an inch maybe a bit less. I don't think 285's will fit without some modifications ...

With the revo 2's I didn't rub uca. Used spaces just to push rims out. Cut them on a lathe cause I didn't want them past wheel well. the only thing I rub on is the very edge of the plastic bump hanging down in front

Yeah no one makes a 1" spacer for hub centric rim. Find a local machine shop to cut it down for you. I worked in one and can use all the equipment after hours. But I am sure u won't hit cab mount I am far from it.
