good afternoon my fellow Tacoma compadres! My name is Jason and I of course am new to the group. I recently purchased my second Tacoma (2017 crew off road JBL inferno) after having a bit of trouble with my 16 (crew off road magnetic grey). It's a long story but I'm very happy to be in a truck that I feel safe in and trust won't catch fire while driving to work. I'm originally from Denver but recently moved to the Springs since Denver has become too expensive to live. I'm a firefighter, former active duty Marine and overseas contractor. I'm happy to be in the group and learn from many of y'all experience and expertise. I'm trying to build up my truck to at least the same level as the trd pro and am finding out that I should have just waired to find one instead of paying for the extras myself $$$$$$$. So far I've got the trd wheels with leveling kit (came with the truck), a magnaflow exhaust, a matte black hood protector from AVS, a soft tonneau cover, and I'm waiting for the afe 51-76005 CAI, 54-76005s CAI scoope, and an ultra quiet vibrant resonator to be delivered to my house. My wishlist for the future includes: a 3"-4" suspension lift (I haven't figured out which one yet but I drive 60 miles to work so it needs to be versatile), a motion lockout bypass, a bully dog chip (when it comes out), front and rear bumpers (preferably lighter weight, considering fab fours), a basket rack for the top and bed of the truck (once the price comes down a bit, and I need to find something that works with my soft tonneau cover). All this without going broke so I need a good place to buy stuff so I'm asking y'all if you see something, say something and we'll be best friends! Thank you for letting me be part of the group, I'm very excited!
