Painted the grill white and also added the smoked fog light covers. Thank you WW_Firefighter!!!!



Taillight embellishment. Chrome bezels, sanded down and painted black.

Thanks! I want to do the radio next, but I don't know how to get it out

 

The radoi is easy to get out. You actually halfo to pull the climate controls out first. then you can get to the radio.
Check the stereo installation page it gives good pics there to pull it out. If not I can take an attempt to explain how I got mine out but may confuse you more. But let me know and I can try to help ya.

 

Thanks. Right now I'm trying to find a thread from a long time ago where someone had color matched their radio. I'll check out the stereo installation page too tho. I probably will need help

 

I put a double din GPS/DVD/iPod/etc in mine, super easy to get the stock out...

wiring is a bit tough if you have never done it before, but easy if you have done it.

 

I want to get one of those, but right now I just want to do some painting to match everything else in the truck. It's funny, I made my own grill just fine, but doing anything electrical makes me nervous

 

understandable... you can jack stuff up by accident.
But you also save tons of money, and learn a lot if you have a friend do it with you that knows whats up.

 

I hear ya on that. Luckily for me I know pretty much every mechanic in the county. Not because my truck breaks down, but because I work as a parts delivery driver.

Yeah, I did some cleanup work on it and then decided to color match it. I think it makes it stand out a little more.
