Since you are going to have to leave early on Sunday, we could spend a couple hours on Saturday afternoon at BVORR, even if the 4runner can't make the trip.

 

Getting a ticket while driving down the highway minding your own business is one thing... Getting one for going offroading in a city easement is TOTALLY different. Besides I have my plans for not getting caught.

 

That would be cool, but if not, I'm not too worried about it.

 

We can just play it by ear then.

 

OK the tranny is out, thanks Jason & Andy for providing the extra muscle! The flex plate is running out & hitting the starter, I believe it is bent. Still working on a solution for the problem. One way or another I am sure I can fix this one. Napa wants $120.00 for a new one......FUCK that, I am probably going to take this one to work with me in the AM and by the time I leave it will be good as new

Had a damn good time wrenching on it yesterday. Definitely worth getting only 3 hours of sleep. The drive back at 5:00 kinda sucked though.

Thanks to everyone who came & helped me work on the 4runner this weekend. I had a great time & got alot done. Just a few minor details to work out at this point. I have a fuel leak that should be pretty easy to fix on the cold start injector, need to pull up that diagram I had before and go back over all of the vacuum lines. I still can't get the brakes to bleed out, quit trying because I know I am going to have to replace at least one of the wheel cylinders anyways. The radiator is leaking a little, I think I am just going to try & put some stop leak in it & see what happens.

I am really glad to say that it is running half decent and the flex plate issue seems to be resolved, I tweaked it the best I could & got it down to about .010" of run out.
