    These are the gauges I got, just oil pressure & water temp, nothing fancy but they should work just fine. I am not going to keep them in that chrome consol thing they come in. I am thinking about mounting them either where the stereo goes (where my CB is going to go) or possibly in the dash where the 2 center ac vents are.

    I pulled the alternator out last night & dropped it off to be rebuilt earlier today on my lunch break. With in 5 minutes the guy told me that it was the internal voltage regulator & that he would order it & call me when it was ready, hopefully that will be tomorrow.

    I got my alternator back yesterday, good as new. The problem was the voltage regulator, he said that the brushes & bearing both looked really good. He only charged me $22 for the part, free labor....Hell of a deal! Haven't got it back on yet, but it's on my list for today.

    They are pretty decent, got them as a gift. I am not going to use the plastic line they supplied for the oil pressure gauge tho. Gonna get some copper tubing instead. Hope to have them installed along with my Tach & CB this weekend.

    Got my alternator back on the 4runner this weekend, it's working great, charging at about 14.5 volts! No more battery charger!

    Very excited about that!

    I also got my CB mounted up yesterday, not hooked up....just mounted. I am having to fab abunch of parts for it & my gauges. I hope it comes out nice for all the effort I have in it. Will post some pics when it starts coming together a little more.
