Next wheeling trip planned for the cream puff is on Saturday June 26th at BVORR, 12 days from today. I thought I would put together a list of things I need to get wrapped up by then.

    1. New front brake pads & rotors, bleed brakes.
    2. Install BJ spacers & rear shackles.
    3. Repair the transfercase mount & shifter linkage.
    4. Replace transmission filter & fluid.
    5. Adjust trans. cable at throtle body
    6. Install idler arm.
    7. Fab new rear bumper brackets.
    8. Adjust valves.
    9. Change motor oil.
    10. Finish gauge install.
    11. Make new bikini top parts.
    12. New CB antenna mount & re-tune.
    13. Change oil in front diff.

I had better get to work.

Got the drivers side Ball Joint spacer in last night. All I can say about it is what a pain in the ass it was to get in there. I can't beleive it took me so long to do just 1 side. Anyway.

Thanks guys, I am pretty proud of them, now hopefully they work as good as they look. I've read abunch about them on Yotatech & everybody loves theirs & claim to get 2" more lift & travel out of them. I am going to need longer shocks though. Maybe some homebrew extenders to start with.

Sure man, just let me know. Don't forget that Sunday is fathers day though.

I took a better pic of the BJ spacers that wasn't so close. Other wise just more of the same. At least it is better than just self bumping

Damn it guys, I will get them tonight alright :D. My wife has some hot chick (at least that what she said) from her office bringing her Mustang over this evening so that I can look into a funny noise coming from her front wheels when she turns. As soon as I am finished with that I will put the other BJ spacer on & the rear shackles & get the travel numbers for you Randy. Hopefully it won't be midnight by then but we'll see. I have a set of 2nd gen OE taco rear Billies laying around......wonder if I will be so lucky that they might work for the front? They def. won't work for the rear because of the mounting arrangement. The 4runner's rear has loops on both ends but the front is loop on the bottom & stud on top.

I found a really good write up on how to do a driveway alignment. I am going to need this once I get the ball joint spacers done.

So you are saying that the rear of my 4runner should have 10-12" of travel but the rear of a 2nd gen Taco only has 6-8" of travel?

Faawwwkkk! Doesn't look like I am going to get any travel number tonight :(

Having some problems here. I got the second BJ spacer installed in no time flat, no fighting or cursing. It was very easy. I put the tires on & set it down to find out that the first side I did is in some sort of bind. NO SUSPENSION TRAVEL AT ALL! Not even a 1/2". Something is not right. I pulled this side apart at least a week ago to get measurements for the spacers & the LCA has been hanging ever since. I think that the CV Joint is in a bind with the manual hub. I am trying to get the hub off now but it is in a bind also. I tried pretty hard to dislodge it but I really don't want to force it to the point of damage. The CV joint is definitely in a bind with the hub because with the hubs on FREE I should be able to turn the wheel separate from the axle like I can on the other side.

Also, I have to get some wheel spacers before I can ride on the BJ spacers, the UCA is rubbing the tire :(

I'm not giving up just yet, going back out to the garage now to try & get the drivers side out of this bind it is in.
