I got some fuel for my heater & I was able to muscle (with a little help, and I do mean a little) the front end of the 4runner into the shop. That made working on it tonight much more pleasant. Unfortunately I did not get much done because I didn't get started until late & I am waiting on the gaskets. I did fix a couple of bad wires by soldering in new pieces & replaced a few more vacuum lines. Didn't get a battery today like I had planned, just not enough hours in the day.

For $25, how can you go wrong? Especially if it comes with lights.

I'm not going to worry about lights untill the damn thing runs & drives, LOL

I am starting to get pissed about people post ads on craigslist & then not responding to my e-mails.

I drove in circles on my lunch break & made very little progress. Called Toyota to be sure my gaskets where in before I left work & they back ordred one of them :annoyed: .Well Fuuuucccck, they said it would be in tommorow but that is going to set me back ANOTHER day . So I went to get a new battery & they tried to give me a top post. My battery cables are side post so I asked a bunch of questions & came to the conclusion that the battery I have, which is still good, will work fine I just need different battery cables. And of course they do not have a specific part number for the right battery cables, I am going to have to remove mine & take them to Napa & try to match some up the best I can. I guess that is a good thing because new cables will cost less than a new battery. One set back after another.

I think I am going to need it......Thanks.

Ok after work I am going to Napa & I will measure the recomended group 25 battery & then find a comperable size & cranking amp side post battery. Should be good to go. It might cost more than replacing the battery cables, but it will def. be faster.
