Got to drive around about 50 miles today. Loaded the Stryker+ AGM+GL.
First impression is very responsive in gear 1 and stays responsive below 3000rpm with most gears.
The shifting nightmare is gone there isn’t a jolt to the vehicle in shifting gears as before. Really feels a lot more like I would have imagined the Magnuson to few like from the start. More feedback as it goes but with the added weight the power fees more than sufficient now.

Im late to the party but the bar was still open.
Any way I have to burn nearly a full tank of 87 before I flash the new tunes.

The maggie tune tries to use the TC lockup but unless im under 60 it wont stay locked because of the added weight and 35's.
Id love to think the added low end torque would enable TC lockup at higher speeds.

A little confused on ECT/sport mode etc.
Not sure what the below means. TC lockup can occur in gears other than 5th ?

    1. We have provided tunes with gearlock enabled as well. This feature is accessed by utilizing the ECT mode in conjunction with S-Mode. ECT mode will not function normally on its own as it used to with this version of the tune.

Good to hear! Can’t wait to load mine and go for a drive.

Do you feel the throttle response is too much. I was thinking of loading Stryker first and then Stryker + just to feel the difference.

I’m at work until tomorrow morning so I’ll be loading it and taking it for a drive for about 100 miles

You have a heavy truck, I’d start with Stryker+. Doubt you’ll be disappointed.

That was my thought. Probably go with that until the 87 tune arrives.

Do you know if you need a different belt for 87 ? If so the part number?

I’m definitely in if this accommodates bigger injectors. Going to upgrade everything at once. Fittings to connect OEM fuel lines is appreciated.

I have to do some testing here. There are space constraints on each end, more so on the front of the rails. I believe we can use typical fittings on the rear, but the front will need ORB banjos (radium has them). It will really depend on what kind of set up you want to run.

From the feed line, a 5/16" female fuel quick connect to 6AN (or 8AN), then a short hose to a 6AN Y fitting, 2 short hoses to the rails. 8ORB Banjos will for sure fit, but won't flow as well as regular AN fittings so I'd like to see if 90 degree fittings will fit on the back of the rails. They might just barely.

Also there is the option if you are so inclined, to get the LS500 factory port feed line, which is actually a Y line with all factory quick connects for a simple plug and play to the feed, but it's about $85. Then you only need the quick connects on the rails.

There will be a fitting required for the pressure sensor.

I'll make up a list with some pictures of each set up with what works before final release. I have to cut some threads into my prototype before I can start mocking up fittings. There are just a ridiculous variation of ways this can be set up depending on how much you want to spend.

I'll also need to evaluate how far I'm personally wanting or willing to dive into the various larger injectors and related options, because it begins to lean harder into a wide variety of more individualized and custom one-off setups and that's not the main goal for these rails, for the YW MagSC tune(s) anyway

I think you will find that there aren't many options for bigger injectors anyway. Not with 11mm injectors. I'm not sure the LS500's port injector size, but about the only non factory toyota compatible injectors are the ones that Mat mentioned, and those are the 650cc Tundra injectors.

I totally understand. I think keeping it as simple as possible is the way to do it. I would go for one variation with upgraded 6 AN fittings for folks that want to upgrade the entire line size and fuel pump in the future when such a modification exists. The simpler the better but I wouldn’t put anything like a banjo to reduce the flow at the distal end. That defeats the purpose.

    Yup I get it.

If it comes down to having to use the Banjos, I don't think it will be too much of an issue. Radium has 8ORB banjos with 6AN inlets that flow very well. The difference from a 6AN 90 would be minimal at best. These are designed for their fuel rails so they are the only ones I would use in the case of a Banjo.

For the most factory setup, I would use these with the LS500 Y line. They would be DIRECT plug and play.

For an AN setup, I would use these if the 90s don't fit. Radium's banjos have very large internal ports compared to normal banjos:

I'd like to avoid these type of fittings though because they are $35 a piece.

Got up this morning and got it loaded up. It actually moves like a real supercharged truck now! The power is so much more linear and there doesn't seem to be any dead spots.
