Who said that an AGM option wasn't available? We've given AGM edits to people running the BH2 beta when communicated to us that AGM was needed.

I've been running this version that Yotawerx reached out to me to try for about a month now:
    YW_04B42_Stryker_MagSC_87mmPulley_THR01

I don't think it can get much smoother than this. I haven't had any complaints about the past versions, but they somehow get better\smoother with each update.

When I first flashed it I did try out a hard launch just to see how it responded. I've done this before and while I was impressed at the performance, it never took off like it did this time. It had a significant "hop" and pull to the left like hard launches with good traction will do. No idea what the 0-60 is, but for something this heavy it's damn quick for what it is.

Great tuning as always from the Yotawerx crew!

If I *HAD* to complain about something, I'd say I did notice a decrease in MPGs with the latest version, but I'm legit neutral on fuel economy in a midsize pickup truck with a supercharger. If I need to drive long distance, I just drive the wife's hybrid RAV4. So not a real complaint, but a data point nonetheless.

FWIW i run AGM batteries in all my vehicles, without altering the charge voltage. yes it never gets fully topped off, so if you are in the practice of running considerable loads with the engine off; you may notice some shortage. But a benefit is that the battery service life is extended. There is some evidence that topping off batteries puts them under additional stress. In my experience, this appears true, including that i am currently running a 7+ year old battery in my 09 Tacoma, with an electric plow. that battery is still strong, and starts the truck even after sitting weeks.

interesting, thanks for the heads up. I know very little about batteries myself but went deep into a tacomaworld rabbit hole after swapping in an AGM a while back and just assumed that it was necessary, lol. specifically, this thread:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/vf-tuner-for-the-3-5l-tacoma-agm-tuning.689652/

but yeah, i dont run any accessories or anything really so nice to know that its not a huge concern

We should be releasing notes about this in the near future.

Any chance it'll be in the next week or so? I have a tune booked next Friday (Feb 2nd) with Krave in Calgary and would love to get the latest if there's updates coming soon. Could delay my tune so I don't have to go back twice if things won't be ready.

Awesome! Would have understood if not, but still may been a little bummed had that not been the case since I just got it recently.

YotaWerx in-vent gauge mounts for the 3GTacoma are available; send us an email

    ventmount03.jpg

Additionally, we still have 5 units remaining in stock from the last batch of the original YotaWerx design for the in-vent gauge mount (see photo below). These have been replaced by the version pictured above

Anyone else notice a change in the D4S self-cleaning cycle frequency? Before tuning, I noticed it pretty often. I pinged Marc after a few hundred miles passed and I hadn't heard it, and he assured me that it should not have affected anything; but I'm getting a little concerned something may be off now that I've driven it 1200+ miles in my usual manner and I've still not heard it. So, I thought I'd check in with my fellow peanuts in the gallery.

Never would I have ever thought I'd have my paranoia stoked over something I did made it less noisy, but, here I am...

Get obd2 phone app and look at PIDs. Most cases you would not hear it.

I am a diy’er with TS (that I have only used for the tune - so total n00b); generally safe assumption anything an app can do, it can do better?

    TS even better.
look for these Pids. Engine has to be fully warmed up to have the cycle.
D4S injection timing has 3 timings. 320 degrees of crankshaft for Direct (high loads) and the cleaning cycle, 270 -Either mode (typical driving below 75% of the load) and 35 during the startup to warm up cats)

Nice! I'm going to make a genuine effort to find out how to get to that screen...but I may be back, haha. Today I even sat outside the truck for a few minutes idling after I got to work, and then again when I got home, still didn't hear what I'm used to hearing a lot, whatever it is/was. I'll post a screenshot if I remember to.

Have you done the data logging with TS? Basically log the data while driving to/from work. Save the file, then open the file and use graph option.

When the update does come out for the supercharger tune will it be announced here? Or where should I keep an eye out
