mine has enjoyed oil changes at the Toyota dealer since new with their oil. Plus, since the very first oil change, I have been adding a bottle of MOC oil additive which Toyota carries in their parts houses so it always had that extra protection every 3000 miles or so. I know it's overkill but that is one clean and spirited 105,000 mile motor.

As long as it carries the current API "for gasoline engines" certification then oil is oil.

    This.
    It's junk.

I compared numerous oils in my motorcycle and sent the used samples to Blackstone.
RP did not perform any better than Castrol GTX.

Okay... maybe "junk" isn't the right word.
After all, it DOES hold up as well as Castrol GTX, which in turn holds up better than one of the motorcycle-specific synthetics (and twice the cost)...

But it's nothing special. Certainly not "best stuff on the market"
It's not bad... but it's not worth a dime more than whatever GTX is selling for.

    LOL!

My only beef with it other than cost-for-what-it-is?

Those who change their oil based on the color are completely lost.
I halfway expected Blackstone to comment on the color (but I sent in both used and virgin samples).

Super Tech 5/30. Workman gets it at daggum Wal Mart. Costs $10 for a five quart jug.
